<title>Public help needed with wild dog conservation - Kruger National Park, South Africa</title>
    <link>http://www.african-safari-journals.com/south-africa-wildlife.html#video</link>
<description>The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) and South African National Parks (SANParks) are running a research project to help with conservation of the African wild dog (highly endangered species).

From now until the end of November 2007, visitors to the Kruger National Park are asked to help out by contacting the project immediately, or as soon as possible, after any wild dog sightings south of Satara Camp in the park.

So, if you are headed to the Kruger within the next two months and you are lucky enough to see wild dogs, please contribute to the project by sending the details (location, time and size of group and more info if you think it is needed) to the Wild Dog Hotline on 076 725 5242 via SMS, MMS or a phone call.

The project researchers can then locate the pack and obtain the required genetic samples.

Get the full story at the EWT website: www.ewt.org.za

In the meantime, have a look at our &lt;b&gt;wild dog video&lt;/b&gt; of a pack preparing to hunt.</description>
