Great trip with Arunga Expeditions

The four of us at the top of Kilimanjaro

Our group of four booked a two day safari to Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater and then a trek all the way up Kilimanjaro via the stunning 7-day Lemosho Route.

Arunga met us at the airport and transported us to the Arusha Tourist Inn. We did the 2 day safari and then the Kilimanjaro climb.

We can't say enough about our experience with Arunga and the trip they put together for us.

We ended up staying four nights at the Arusha Tourist Inn and it was great; and the food there I thought was excellent.

We did a lot of research on a lot of the TATO trekking agencies and we found Arunga to be very reasonable and the guides and porters were professional, friendly and fun.

Because of Arunga, we all succeeded in our Kilimanjaro summit; a trip of a lifetime.

The food on the Kilimanjaro climb was great. The lunches got a little boring after a week, but the breakfasts and dinners more than made up for it.

Our head guide, Paul Ombela, and assistant guides, Kelvin Ilala and Amidi Oldtu did everything possible to make sure we succeeded in our climb. All the guides and porters became good friends to us and we will certainly never forget them.

My Arunga contact was Benjamin David. He was excellent in responding to all my emails and answering a lot of questions before we made our trip.

I would highly recommend Arunga for either a safari and/or a Kilimanjaro trek.
