Safari In Namibia Top Three Companies

So you've decided that you want to go on safari in Namibia and now you need to choose an operator to guide your trip. With so many possibilities, where do you begin?

The best place, I believe, is to ask others who have been on a trip with that company already for their impressions of how the company performed.

That way you can get first hand and unbiased advice right from where it matters most. The person who experienced the trip.

So that is essentially what I have done to compile the top three safari in Namibia operators list. I can accurately find out peoples experience of a company from the trip reports they sent to me over the years at the African Safari Journals website.

Only the ones that have received excellent reviews make it onto the top three list. That doesn't mean that you are certain to have the same experience yourself but it does cut out the ones that under perform regularly.

I also (more about me) keep my ear to the ground in industry exhibitions, forums, newsletters and travel magazines to find out who the top performers are.

How Much Can You Expect to Pay?

To compare oranges with oranges it is much more effective to list safari in Namibia operators by sorting them into three different rates categories. Low season rates can be about 25% less than high season rates. The rate indications below exclude international and inter-Africa airfares.

Lion track icon Deluxe: Prices range from $650 upwards per person per night spent on safari.

Hoof icon Mid Range: Between $300 and $650 per person per night spent on safari.

Bird track icon Budget (usually camping): From $100 to $300 per person per night spent on safari.

The companies are listed in no particular order other than alphabetical. Safari in Namibia trip reports form the basis for this ranking...
