Tropic Tours Review
by John Crane
(United States)
We saw black rhino, millions of flamingoes, leopards, lions, elephants, birds. Our most intresting was at Masai Mara when we found a cheetah in action hunting an impala - Obama was a very good spotter.

Safari Operator Performance
We used Tropic Tours & Travel which we found through the internet.
Everything went on perfect as per our prior arrangements, their service was very professional from the word GO, their responses were very swift and informative.
The guide was fantastic, Obama was a very kind person and he did more than we could expect from him to show us, the animals in Kenya, we have seen all the normal animals but also the remarkable ones.
We had a joke in the car: Our country has a president name Obama, but we have Obama, our own king of Masai Mara.
We will recommend Tropic Tours & Travel and Obama.
Everything exceeded our expectations.Accommodation and Food
Mountain Lodge – A tree lodge, very nice and good service
Flamingo Hill – Small tented boutique hotel and attending to detail
Mara Simba Lodge – A very nice lodge in heart of Mara, the food and service were perfect
All the meals were buffet and we were spoilt for choices, I must say we ate good traditional food as well.
Other Activities
We visited a local village at Masai Mara and it was very intresting to learn their culture.
Tips and Advice
If you plan to visit Mountain Lodge, please carry your warm clothing. It gets very chilly at night when most of the action happens.
Don't forget your camera.
Kenya is a perfect destination to visit and come next time we will definitely go to the coast – I like scuba diving.
During this trip, the weather was just perfect and the local people are so hospitable.
