Choosing a Tanzania safari company to organise your dream African trip can be a frustrating experience because there are so many of them around. But help is at hand...
By cutting down all the options to the best three in the different rates categories, you improve your chances of choosing a company that will do a great job.
I (more about me) keep my ear to the ground in travel industry exhibitions, forums, newsletters and travel magazines to find out who the cream of the crop in the African travel business is.
This list is not meant to be an "absolute" classification because there are more than three good operators out there but it will give you an excellent guideline to work from.
The companies are listed below in rates categories in no particular order other than alphabetical. Online and offline Tanzania safari travel journals and reputations built up in the travel industry form the basis for this ranking.
It wouldn't be fair if you were trying to rank safari companies to lump them all in the same category because they fall into three distinct areas based on the rates they charge for a trip.
Low season rates can be about 25% less than high season rates. The rate indications below exclude international and inter-Africa airfares.
Deluxe: Prices range from $800 upwards per person per night spent on safari.
Mid Range: Between $400 and $800 per person per night spent on safari.
You're welcome to contact each one independantly yourself if you want but there's no need, I can save you considerable time and effort with the form I've made available below.
Just complete the form once and your request/questions will be sent to the relevant person at each of the top three companies in the applicable rates category.
So after submitting your request you will recieve by e-mail a no obligation quote/itinerary for your planned safari from each of the three companies so that you can evaluate and compare them at your leisure.
You are under no obligation to travel when you receive the proposals, it's just to give you an idea of what a safari with each top operator will cost, what the itinerary will look like and whether accommodation/guides are available for your trip dates.
Find out who the top three safari companies in Kenya, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Zambia are by requesting the list below.
It's broken down into four instalments over four days and includes a free e-book which will help improve your images on safari called "Better Safari Photography", a "what to pack" checklist, valuable safari tips to know before you go and a ticklist of all the animals you are likely to see on your trip.
So complete the form below to have the top three list and all the other information e-mailed to you...
